Gloria Hester
Gloria Hester teaches Workshops at Rancho La Reforma about 4 times a year or private one on one sessions. Gloria has taught Yoga for 8 years, she is certified by White Lotus Foundation. Her Therapeutic Restorative Yoga supports poses to nurture and restore combined with Yogic wisdom, gentle movement to re-educate the nervous system. Gloria's workshops include Equine Hanna Somatics, which is a hands on method of assisting the horse in recognizing any forgotten patterns of movement that were previously accessible to him. Horses as well as humans over time, develop chronically contracted muscles ("sensory motor annesia"). This results in unconscious patterns of holding in the musculature. Through this work we are asking the horse or the human to sense this unconscious holding pattern and release it. The work is very subtle and requires mindfulness. It is her great privilege to bring this work to both horse and human. To learn more click above on her underlined name or visit www.gloriahesteryoga.com.
